About Furget Me Not

Furget Me Not is a no-kill, volunteer driven rescue organization serving Edmonton and the surrounding areas, and First Nations communities in rural Manitoba and Saskatchewan. They are dedicated to giving cats and kittens from local pounds, where they are at high risk of euthanasia, and communities lacking rescue resources a chance for the rest of their lives to be the best of their lives.  

They specialize in senior cats, cats with unique medical needs and neonatal orphan kittens- kittens who lose their mom under 4 weeks of age, and require intense round the clock care, including spending their time in their veterinary grade incubator, hourly feedings, and ongoing supportive care. On average they take in 300 to 400 cats kittens per year!

Their rescues are placed in loving and nurturing foster homes while they wait for their forever family. Through their network of foster homes, vets, rescue partners, Pet Valu stores & volunteers, they are able to maximize the use of every dollar donated by keeping our administrative and veterinary costs low whenever possible.  All their cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped & vet checked prior to adoption.
